Pamukkale, meaning  "Cotton Castle" in Turkish,
is a natural site in Denizli  Province in southwestern Turkey.
The city contains hot springs and travertines, terraces of carbonate
minerals left by the flowing water.
It has a temperate climate for most of the year.
